I was born at Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz in 1949 and have seen a lot of wonderful change in Santa Cruz. After graduating from Humboldt State and serving in the California National Guard, I worked as a lender in Santa Cruz for 45 years. Many of my clients have purchased homes, refinanced to better rates and have referred their friends and family to me for mortgage advice. I enjoy helping people make educated decisions about buying, refinancing and reverse mortgages.
My wife, Cathie, and I have lived on a couple of acres with an ocean view in Soquel for 32 years. Currently, we share it with two lively dogs and lots of garden space.
Cathie and I were blessed with four children. Gregson (married to Sara) owns a home in Los Angeles and works in the film industry as a digital imaging technician, Sara is a makeup and hair artist working on films and some famous musical artists.
Peter (married to Megan) owns a home in Roseville with three of our granddaughters Avery, Eleanor, and Madeline. Peter is a VP for a bank writing loans and lines of credit. Stephen and his wife Adrianne own a home in Marina where he works as a software engineer and dotes on our 3rd granddaughter Scarlett. Elizabeth (married to Giovanni Aliotti) owns a home in Del Rey Oaks and has a new addition to their family, Luca, a cute little boy. Giovanni works in frozen food sales and distribution.
I keep myself busy with hobbies like sailing, restoring old 1930 Model A Fords, enjoying our view from our home of Monterey Bay.
